My wife and I were mislead and lied to on the need to repair my 2015 Honda Accord. Grinding starter.
Was informed that not only the starter needed to be replaced but the converter too as the teeth were missing.
Cost about $4500.
Took my car to my mechanic who not only stated the starter was never touched but this is a known issue Honda Docment 16-002.
The starter dies need to be replaced but the converter only need to be turned once and that will will fix the issue. Actual cost $1300.
I feel Michael Stephenson mislead us and was attempting to have us trade in our car for a new car.
