It took about 40 minutes to get checked in, and when I got my estimate, the price had raised for labor from just six months ago-same service-diesel fuel filter. That got my attention, but I do realize going to the dealer is going to cost more than an outside service company. However, there are limitations to how much more I’m willing to pay for service that can be done elsewhere. I do appreciate that two recalls that I was unaware of which also were taken care of, and Messer overall was good to me and professional.

Went in to have a OnStar notice checked. Turns out I needed to have the battery replaced on my 2018 Traverse replaced. I spoke with Jeff on Friday and he was able to get me in on Saturday at 8am. I was out by 9:30. Great job.

I scheduled service on 9/25. I drove an hour to get there only to be turned away because of a Chevy app scheduling glitch. I was asked to come back next day, which I did. My rep was terrific. Here’s my main issue, I hand wash my car twice a week. I park my vehicle when I go out as far away from other cars as possible to avoid door dings. I washed my car day before service. There were no dents. I drove straight home from dealership and pulled into my garage. I took the car out today to wash it and discovered a door ding on my right passenger back door. I could understand this happening in a place where I shop or attend a function, but I wasn’t expecting this to happen where I service my car. So, theres that. The next issue, there was a notification that comes up every time I start my car. “Service Pedestrian Alert System” I bought my car in January 2024. You guys had it for two months because all my cameras went out and you couldn’t get parts. (Look it up in my account) I was told I needed to bring the car back and leave it for technicians to diagnose. First cameras go out, which is a safety feature. Then this new notification about another safety feature appears. I’m starting to think I have a lemon here. I’m also afraid you’ll have my car for months again. Sorry, I know this is a lot of negative, but put yourself n my shoes. Would you be happy with all this? Your reps are terrific. Not complaining about the guys. I’m just frustrated. This is the first car I’ve ever bought new, I’m retired and 60 years old. This was in my mind going to be a great car buying experience and perhaps the last new car purchase I’ll make due to health issues. Sorry, but that’s my feedback about my experience. I wish it was better for me and for you guys, but it’s not. Thanks
