Carlos was usually nice but since yesterday he was sarcastic and came off a bit rude today. I am a customer with a legitimate concern. Despite them not able to find the fault, he should not tell me that there are other places around or VW because it seems I do not trust their service despite me not even uttering a word. Many times, there are issues and they are not shown and I would not waste my time to drive all that way to Brandon for a frivolous ous came. I am the one paying my car note, hence I have a real problem.

The Arteon that I brought in for a CEL diagnosis was not diagnosed. I was charged a diagnostic fee for a car that has roughly 70,0000 miles remaining under warranty. Your service department's claim of "there is no diagnosis" because you scanned the car for fault codes and nothing was resolved and you switched a spark plug and coil from cylinder 3 to cylinder 2 which a I can perform in my driveway with a walmart socket set and 10 minutes of my time. I also explained to the service advisor when I checked in the car that the best potential way to re-create the issue was never mentioned when the service advisor was explaining to me how they diagnosed the car and arrived on their conclusion. You are charging me for the qualifications of VW certified master technician level diagnostic capabilities, and expect me to pay almost $200 in diagnosis fees for Jiffy Lube level work. This is the third attempt at having this intermittent CEL diagnosed in this car. Luckily for us we have the documentation from both prior dealerships where the car was looked at and they told us the same thing your service advisor did but no fee was charged because the car was under warranty. Secondly, I'm sure the representative at Volkswagen of America that I speak with this upcoming Monday is going to love to hear that you attempted to charge me over $1,000 in extra services not limited to be including: "remove and replace spark plugs (over $300)", "transmission service (over $300), and a "cooling system service (almost $300), all of which where performed less than 10,000 miles ago during the vehicles 40,000mi service (Documentation will be provided as well). So unless Volkswagen between the months of May 2021 and December 2021 changed the service interval on all of those items listed above theres either only 1 or 2 possibilities for why I was attempting to be charged for those service, both of which are not going to look great in the eyes of VoA. The first being that you assume that I am easy prey for service fraud, which is exactly what you attempted and I have documented proof that you attempted to do which includes my 40,000 mi service records which clearly list all of those services being preformed and your service advisors recommendedations from the day I dropped the car at your dealership. Secondly it shows absolute neglegence on behalf of your dealership and service advisors by not even entering the vehicles VIN number and looking at the service history of the car, which would show that the car has been properly serviced and maintained in accordance to VW recommended service and specifications as of day 1 of ownership at authorized VW service centers. I promise you there is no universe where the outcome of this scenario results in you collecting the diagnostic fee that I was charged. I will exhaust every avenue possible until the man hours from your establishment greatly exceed the original cost of the diagnostic fee dealing with this dispute. As well as hopefully impact future customers from ever stepping foot into this predatory environment. I have 5 VAG vehicles that I currently own and I have experienced various VW/Audi dealerships up and down the east coast and have never been treated so unfairly. I hope that moving forawrd you take this example and reflect upon how you currently handle your service process and understand how someone like me who is an absolute die hard Volkswagen fan and customer feels turned away from the brand, and imagine how a normal customer who maybe selected your brand over a Honda/Toyota would be dissuade from ever purchasing a VW.
