I am extremely disappointed how things went. I was quoted 253.95 plus tax for 15,000 mile service. When my car was done, the bill was $316, $45 more then quoted.
When I asked why I was told because my car (kia Sorento) needed 6 qts of oil and was charged $13.99 in shop fees. I can sort of understand the extra oil, but we should have been advised. What I don't appreciate is the added shop fees. I was forwarded to the assistant shop manager (sorry forgot her name) and she said basically that's just the way it is and she doesn't advise customers ahead of time either. I don't know how this is possible. Maybe she was just protecting her emoyee but found this explanation unacceptable.
She did get the bill within $5 of the quoted price, but it's awful how the fees were just added without a care or explanation
