Wonderful service extremely accommodating!

My technician recommended purchasing 2 new rear tires. He stated one had a nail in it and it was unrepairable, and stated the tread on the other rear tire was also worn and needed to be replaced. The vehicle is only a year and a half old so I took it elsewhere for a second opinion and the tire with the nail was in fact able to be repaired and the tire on the other rear tire was fine. I will no longer be taking my vehicle to price Honda for service since this is my second bad experience with their service department.

I dropped my car off for an oil change. This would’ve been one of my 4 oil changes that were part of my service agreement. I purchased my vehicle 4 months ago. When I dropped my vehicle off today my phone number was confirmed and I was asked if that was the number I wanted to be called on when my vehicle was ready. I got a call when I my vehicle was ready for pickup. Shortly after that my husband text me saying the vehicle was ready and that it was $280. Of course I was confused because all I dropped it off for was an oil change, one that was again part of my service agreement. So I called my husband questioning what was said. Someone from Price Honda called him stating that I requested them to call him to ask him if it was ok to complete the recommended services, air filter, new battery and whatever else. Well he was not the person to call, his phone number was only originally the contact number but his name is no where tied to my vehicle. He was not someone who is authorized to decide if something was ok to be done to my vehicle. I never received a call from Price Honda about any of these other things to be done to my vehicle. I didn’t authorize this. This is not how business should be done. Again this is my vehicle. Also I just bought it a few months ago, why were these things already going bad or need service ? I’m more upset with that fact that someone who is not anywhere tied to my vehicle was allowed to “authorize” anything to be done to my car. At no point was his name provided. All they had was a phone number for me to be reached at. He is not ont he title, he is not on the purchase receipt, warrant or device agreement.

David Root was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. He kept me apprised of the status of my car repairs throughout my wait. I will be using Price Honda again for future service.
