I’ve grown accustomed to expect high quality service at Priority. During my last visit I almost spoke to a manager because I did not clearly understand that my rotors had not already been worked on and taken below minimum thresholds. I was under the impression that my only option was to get new rotors when he spoke to me and I said so and indicated that I did not appreciate that I came in for brake noise at one price only to be told that now it would cost $160 more because someone didn’t notice that there wasn’t enough material left on my rotor prior to starting work. He replied that I did actually have the option to put the inadequate rotors back on my car (that is not an option). I asked to speak to a manger to express my frustration at lack of options because I had already priced replacing the rotors with another company but decided to trim them down with Priority instead because of the price difference. Upon going to his desk he indicated that the manager was not there then indicated that the service notes ACTUALLY stated that the work had not been started. That’s a big difference. I calmed down and proceeded with work, but now I’m second guessing finishing the work on my check engine light. I was initially told months ago that the brakes were fine and there were just a few rocks likely causing the noise. When the noise didn’t get better I trusted that the notes indicating that if I replaced the pads (that still had plenty of life) and resurfaced rotors then the problem would definitely leave. Then in my appointment I’m told that I have no option other than replace my rotors only to find out after threatening to talk to a manger that the work hadn’t actually started yet. I spoke to the technician and asked how this oversight could have been missed the last time someone looked at the brakes. He just shrugged and told me that it shouldn’t have been missed because it’s obvious that the rotors have insufficient material left to resurface... What’s to say that the diagnosis on my check engine light is correct? Furthermore, I was charged for the part to fix the problem causing the light simply because Priority had to order it. No work was done, why should I again feel obligated to pay for work that hasn’t taken place? Unless Priority can guarantee that replacing this part will solve the issue with my indicator light long term, I’d like a refund on the part and I can go elsewhere for a second opinion. I’ve lost a lot of trust in the service over the last 24 hours.

I assumed my car would be returned to the bay where I dropped it off. Instead I had to ask where they parked it. Also had to ask for my keys, I assumed after paying the clerk would of had them. Other than that I’m happy with the days transaction.

Went in for oil change and state inspection. Tech stated my right combination light was out. It was not. He lied. Tech stated my passenger head light was not shining straight He lied. He had removed my running light from its socket. Also tech states need rear brakes. We will see I have the state police looking in to it they are going to inspect them. They have been getting complaints regarding false repairs.
