Cristian was great! But, there were some things that I found pretty strange about the free inspection that is offered. Because I came in and when asking for the free inspection mentioned that I was hearing a noise, I was charged a diagnostic fee. If I would not have said that there was a noise, it would have been free. I was having other work done and this was advertised as a free service. Had I known there would be a charge for the inspection, I would have gone to a cheaper mechanic to get the work done on my car. It was my first day owning the vehicle. Unless this is made “right”it will be my last visit to Norm Reeves. The “free”inspection at Norm Reeves is not free unless you walk in and don’t give any clue as to the issues your vehicle may, or may not be having. It’s not a good business practice. When I brought it up, I was told by an employee of Norm Reeves that sometimes mechanics charge for diagnosis during the free inspection and sometimes they don’t. How is that possible? I would appreciate this being addressed and made right prior to posting an accurate account of the experience I had and what I feel was a very poor experience with multiple mixups stemming from the promise of a free inspection. I’m also still waiting and unsure whether the alignment was checked on my vehicle, or not. And, if so, what the results were. I did text in a message to the number I received updates and information about the status of my vehicle. I’ll call again tomorrow to see if I can get that information.
