I brought my van in for a specific problem. I understand that it was a difficult diagnosis, but rather that tell me what the problem was, I got a text with $3400 of suggested service. This is more than the value of the vehicle. I might suggest that you not send this standard response to people who want a specific solution. I understand that it is mileage based, but you run the risk of alienating customers with unrealistic repair/service costs. I am a customer service person myself, and have learned that it is important to suite the response to the customer.
