Although Revecca was very kind and friendly and good at giving me reminder calls and scheduling my vehicle to get picked up and dropped off, there were several issues I feel are worth mentioning. I had a DVD player quit working. I knew it was under warranty but initially the service department was unsure. I called and I was told they would look into whether or not it was covered by warranty. 1 week later I decided to call another Ford dealership to have them help me determine if it was in fact covered under warranty. I then called Clinton auto group and explained I did the research and it was covered under warranty. I then scheduled my vehicle to be looked at. The first time I brought it in they just looked at it to determine it could not be fixed. They then ordered the part. After the part arrived I scheduled to have the vehicle repaired. We are a family of 7 so being without this vehicle means we can not leave the house and is a pretty big inconvenience as no other vehicle can transport us, although I understand it needs to get fixed. After we scheduled the vehicle to get fixed, so the 2and time it was in the shop, I was called and informed they had some employees that didnt show up to work and although my vehicle had been there all day, they were not going to be able to look at it that day. Again, I appreciate them bring the vehicle back to us. The next week the vehicle came back in to get repaired. It was then determined the wrong part was ordered. I never lost patience, and again they did a good job of returning the vehicle to us and scheduling another day. My vehicle was just returned to me with all the repairs completed, two months after our first inquiry. I was informed I needed to pay my $100 deductible before my vehicle was returned. I thought they should have offered to absorbe this being all the hassle, but I paid without mentioning it. This is not the first sevice related issue I have had at this facility. Everyone I have worked with has always been very respectful and courteous and and I am not one to complain or make a scene, but I do believe the service department could use some improvement. My last oil change I was there for 5 hours and was suppose to be my free oil change, I ended up paying half due to going with full synthetic oil. I have purchased a vehicle every year for the last 6 years and have always ran full synthetic, have never had to pay the difference on the free oil change. I think the point of the 1st free oil change is to have the service department win you over and earn your future business. Sales process during purchase was seamless. I'm not saying I will not use the service department again, but convenience of your location will be the biggest factor getting me back there, and I would like to continue to support a local dealership. Keep up what your good at, try to improve at what your not, I hope my honesty is useful and doesn't come across that I was completely dissatisfied, because if I was extremely upset, I would have made someone aware. Thank you.
