I have already placed a call to my usual service representative requesting a copy of the vehicle inspection report as it was not provided to me. In the brief time we have had the truck in our possession, we have discovered that some of the exterior lights on the vehicle do not work and that the USB port inside the truck does not work. My salesman did not disclose those deficiencies to me. I’d like to know whether the service tech noted those defects or if those items were overlooked in the inspection.

I decided to get new tires, on Tuesday I went to Hampton to price said tires, you were running the buy 3 get 1 for a $1. I spoke with Carice and asked her if the price match still applied to this deal and she informed me yes as long as it’s a brick and mortar store. I scheduled my appointment for Wednesday and immediately went to pep boys, chabills and Costco and aquired quotes Costco quoted at 431 per tire. When I brought my quotes to Hampton, Carice informed me that they couldn’t price match because of the current promotion. I completely understand why this price match would not be applicable, the problem is i specifically asked beforehand and was told you would price match. Every tire center In town is running similar promotions and I chose Hampton out of loyalty as well as the price match. Additionally I paid $40 for the car wash and interior detail, when I got my truck my rims were not even wiped down and the interior looked like a sorry attempt at a vacuum and my console was still dirty and full of dust and looked like it had not been wiped down I sat in my truck and thought about complaining but I was so irritated about the tires that I knew if I went back inside I would be to aggravated to not sound like a jerk It should be noted that the last time I had my truck washed it was so bad that the service person scheduled another detail the next day to get it right Pretty upset that I spent $2200 yesterday and was basically lied to about the price match and $40 of it was for a substandard wash, a simple wipe of my interior with a damp cloth would have been sufficient but apparently I paid $20 extra for a quick vacuum and window wipe I have bought 2 tundras from Hampton and have had all of my services for the most recent Tundra handled by Hampton and this last visit I feel like I was lied to and overpaid for a wash Carice did apply a $37 discount and an additional discount with some coupons I had, just upset I went through all the trouble to get tire quotes when a simple upfront answer when I scheduled would have been sufficient, I probably would still have purchased tires from you but at the very minimum I would have been more diligent about making my decision Carice was nice and helpful but whether the price match comment was a mistake or intentional it feels like I was told one thing and once the service was complete I was told something else
