First I want to let you know that I have been going to Fontana Nissan for YEARS. I even bought my 2017 Altima there 2 years ago. Lately the service has been going down hill. Today I had an appointment at 10:05a. Someone came to see me to tell me you were a little behind and that someone would be right with me. Honestly, you say this EVERY TIME I go but the man that came to me was nice and apologetic so ok. No one came to be until about 10:20 ish. By the time I made my way to the waiting area, it was 10:40a. I asked the gentleman how long it would be to get my car’s oil changed and tire rotation and he said about an hour and a half. For oil change? Fine. It actually took a little over 2 hours and when the gentleman came to walk me to the register he said to me “oh and your engine light is on, you know that right?” WTF? Why didn’t they check the car to see why it was on? After all, you had TWO hours?! So he tells me I have to make another appointment so they can check out why it’s on! That’s terrible service. Yes I know the check engine light was on and if I’m completely honest, I forgot to tell him since I waited over 20 mins before anyone came to process my car but you guys used to check everything in my car and if the service advisor had anything to communicate to me he would come and say “hey we found this, it will cost this. Would. You like us to fix it?” And now? I am not told until my car is done and then I’m forced to make another appointment so I can wait yet another 2 hours. I don’t know what is going on with you guys but I really wish you’d get back to where you used to be service wise.

My comment is more about the service I receive at this particular Nissan location and not the service advisor. I often get my car serviced there because of convenience but I always receive poor service every time I go. I have had multiple situations where I leave dissatisfied because of the lack of urgency and customer service from multiple advisors. Instances range From not knowing where someone placed my car to my recent experience where they changed my oil and used conventional instead of synthetic. When I approached an advisor with this they quickly fixed it but there was little remorse about the mistake, not only did I have to wait longer I also was asked to pay the difference. Although they were apologetic I left very unhappy. I would have asked to speak to a Manager but in the past I have been brushed off by leaders there, even when I get phone calls to rate my experience I share my frustrations and all anyone ever does is apologizes but nothing changes. I pay for a service there so it is disappointing that I often leave very frustrated when I visit this location. It’s unfortunate that I’m Not surprised that again someone there made a mistake

I got a estimate of 700.00 and at the end it came up to 3350.00 I was planning on buying a new car with Nissan since I've been driving Nissans forn30 years but I'm considering going with Honda. Maybe an accord. I paid for extended warranty 100,000 Miles and nothing happened to the car. Now that I don't have the warranty the car started to give me problems isn't that a coincidence? I'm not happy at all. This is the last time I buy a Nissan for sure.
