I called the department in advance just to order a plain old gm key fob. I was told that i would need to bring my elderly mother in a wheelchair down to the dealership just to see if it could be ordered much less find out a price of the fob or the programming. We made a special trip with her to the dealership to put in the order just to be told that you guys couldn't order it, I would have to order it myself elsewhere and somehow it would be $200 to program the fob when I did get it. Fortunately my brother is mechanically inclined and picked up a old key fob from the junk drawer and programmed it in 5 minutes in the driveway. He said he has been to your dealership before for the same purpose and for the same vehicle one year newer and wasn't even charged for the programming much less charged $200. Which leaves us both feeling like I was just taken advantage of because I am a women who was there with my elderly mother and they knew I couldn't do anything about it.... super disappointing!!! Thank God for my brother!
