So, I had my car in for routine maintenance a few months ago, spent over $1,000. After leaving the dealership I had a new check engine light on. I notified the dealership and was told it would be addressed when we came in to get my husbands car in the next week. Long story short. It wasn’t addressed. Brought it in today, waited over 15 minutes to be helped, meanwhile the two gentlemen behind me were quickly addressed. After not being able to find Richard, Anthony was nice enough to help us out. I reminded him the check engine light was still on, and it still needed to be checked out. I was told to sign here, I’ll be $170 diagnostic fee. I was confused. I didn’t have a problem until I took my car in the last time. I was told it was going to be addressed. After some further discussion Anthony replied hastily “Just have your husband call me, it’ll be easier to explain to him” WOW. Ok. Please tell me this is not the standard of care you have for your clients. With Regards, Mrs. Breuker

I am appauled at the unprofessionalism that I have experienced at midway Chevrolet. It’s been an ongoing issue for me with Midway and I can’t even believe that this dealership received top dealer award as maybe the sales dept. is exceptional , as they would have to be to cover for their incompetent . Bullish, and undermining fraudulent behaving service department, and I am quite over being treated so poorly from a team that apparently does not perform even sub-standard. Which has not always been my feelings about This dealership as I had a friend who used to work for midway and I had utmost respect and is why I chose to bring my car to midway for its maintenance and repairs over the last several years. My vehicle is inoperable because of the lack of skill set and complete failure to accurately diagnose my vehicle on two separate occasions, and the third time , after two erroneous repairs that were not necessary , I was told that the issue is now my fault because I drove my vehicle. Since when does a patron have to question their trusted dealer’s workmanship , which is far from being adequate. industry standards would suggest a much more adequate approach to diagnosis of vehicles presented to your company, yet not only do you fail , you put the blame of the customer , and try to ridicule them Into a corner , where they have no where else to go but look to you for answers. I brought my car in December for a coolant leak , slow and obviously Internal , and water pump and oil cooler and 6000 later , you want me to pay 1900 just to inspect it because I drove my car after the last repair because I was told it was repaired. GM hasn’t done anything to help resolve , Gary Doolittle never returned my 3 /4 voicemails and I won’t even begin to address the lies that the service department continues to tell me and I’m sure other customers , to make smooth . Midway Chevrolet mis diagnosed my vehicle twice and now my vehicle is inoperable , and I need some solutions here. And I need them fast I did not spend 30,000 on a new car to have it serviced by midways less than mediocre service staff to have it inoperable due to failure of your company’s service department. Actions and apparent lack of care . I’d the correct diagnosis would have been made by performing appropriate symptom guided testing , the original problem would have been repaired in December and I wouldn’t be out of a vehicle , and someone at that dealership will have to take responsibility for their failure and inaccurate decisions on replacing the wrong parts on my care allowing the core problem to get worse and worse to the point of inoperable. Please email me of your intended actions to be a part of the solution and not the problem , and I do not and will not hear anything about this being my fault and you asking me for money. Time is of essence. I need a rental car and this is something that is at the fault of midway. My car is only 6 years old. I have some suggested solutions that I’m willing to accept that I would go over if midway is willing to accept their part in the demise of my inoperable vehicle . Which is in my opinion. 100 at fault. I am prepared to retain and attoeney , file with bbb , news stations , state counsel and others to resolve this matter to my acceptance at any length that I have to go. I have had a certified repair facility diagnose the vehicle last month. I plan to get one more opinion this week , I picked up the vehicle sometime in April for the second repair when I was told it was repaired. Since I was putting my trust in your workmanship , I went ahead and took my vehicle on my holiday and we drove the vehicle approximately 3500 miles to and from. The vehicle coolant tank I marked just to be on the safe side . When we left and upon returning . The car overheated and the coolant tank had completely emptied , and I do have photos of both time and stamp dates. Gary Doolittle told me when I called him that it was just probably residual coolant that I smelled but advised to bring the car in but did act as if I was annoyance to him and The vehicle has been garaged since that point , and it’s due to scheduling and trying to get support on this matter is why it’s taking so long, Hugh says you should have brought the car in immediately after it overheated and now you have a blown head gasket like I should t have driven my car. Absolutely insulting and unacceptable .
