The service department had my car for 5 days! I was without my car and was told that I could get a rental car if the warranty work was "valid." In other words, the codes had to be run to vet the warranty work. Well, the car was not worked on until midday on the 5th day. I know this because my Uconnect notified me of the electric chart fault. After calling MULTIPLE TIMES throughout the week, I finally spoke to joe on the 4th day. He said that he was sorry that the service was taking so long and that 14 technicians called in sick. Unfortunately, I was without my car for 5 days, while it is under warranty. Ironically (or not), I never got a rental because the car was ready at the end of the business day on the 5th day. It is a great deal for the dealership to not pay out for a rental. Bad communication and poor planning is evident in the service department. Our other car -a Toyota was in/out of the Right Toyota in one day for warranty work. I really like my car (Pacifica Hybrid) but I absolutely DREAD bringing it in for service.
