I was told my cabin filter was very dirty and a duct cleaning should be done with a total of $169. I had purchased a few cabin filters previously from Toyota to change as needed. I had remembered replacing the filter a month or so ago. I came home and began the process of removing the filter. I could tell that nothing in my glove box had been disturbed. When I removed the filter it looked nearly new. So I am now under the impression you assume the filter is dirty and don’t actually inspect it. Very disappointed and will likely have my service done elsewhere. Note Joe was great and this review is not about him.
One more point. I called earlier today to discuss this with the service manager. I did not receive a call back. I am a very long time Toyota customer. This issue does not fit with my expectations from a Toyota dealer.
