Yes - I had an 11:00 o'clock appointment. When I got there I was told it would take 2 hours because of drop ins. It actually took 3 hours. I don't understand why you don't call appts and tell them they are behind. Or make the drop ins wait! It was ridiculous. I would have gladly rescheduled if I had been given advance notice before arriving. Then I was told my car was washed and when I got out from under the cover and looked closely, there was not a drop of water on it, not even when I rolled the windows up and down did they leave a water streak. In addition, the windshield still had the wiper marks from when I was in the rain last week. I just hope the oil was actually changed. I know the diagnostics were run because I got that notification. This is the worst service I have ever had from Vandergriff and this is my second Hyundai and we have had 2 Avalon's from Vandergriff Toyota! I sent this earlier in response to another survey.

Annibel himself did just fine, but obtaining the correct part and getting it painted, and put onto the car took way too long. What should have been simple turned out to be a fiasco, from the wrong prices to the wrong part identification. We had to call the service department daily (my brother did the calling) because promises to call us with updates never occurred. “I’ll call you tomorrow” was apparently just a platitude, not a reality. The woman who is your cashier demonstrates a total lack of courtesy. I can sympathize with how busy she is, but a smile and a greeting is not too much to ask for a customer service experience. We are going to get oil changes, etc. from a different dealership in the future because we are sure to find better service and honest answers somewhere else.
