Christopher Lee was very helpful! He answered all of my questions, was very polite, and got me in and out of there quickly! Such a smooth process! First time at Ford for service for my new Mach-e and it was the best experience I’ve had with any dealership!

Overall experience was not the best. Lots of red flags when receiving updates from my service representative Raul. I originally scheduled the appointment with Ken Grody Ford for the recall on my automobile. A few days prior to bringing the car in, I did mention to Raul that my check engine light had suddenly turned on and if they could include a checkup when I came to drop off the car on my scheduled appointment date. He mentioned to me that they were extremely busy and that I would have to bring it in another day for that. I agreed and left it at that. Day prior to bringing the automobile in for the recall, I took it to get the diagnostic test done at AutoZone to check what the codes were for the check engine light so I was aware of what may need to be addressed at that time. Just needed to make sure it was nothing serious. The next afternoon, I dropped my car off after hours and left Raul a VM letting him know the check engine light had turned off after I believe the cycle had completed with the car’s own on-board diagnostic system and also just mentioned I had dropped the car off with the keys. Next morning, I spoke with Raul who mentioned when they moved the car that they noticed the car “sounded like crap” and if I was aware of that. I told him I was not and that it was fine when I dropped off the previous night so I was kinda caught off guard. I asked him multiple times what the problem was and if he or the mechanic had noticed the issue but he couldn’t tell me. He said they just noticed when they moved the car. I wasn’t sure where he was going with this since he started asking me about my warranty and thought maybe it was tactic to upsell me on something but I didn’t appreciate it. It didn’t seem very professional to me and what worried me the most was that I would get the car back with issues I didn’t have when I dropped it off. I also didn’t appreciate the fact that he wrote on the invoice me supposedly admitting to having previous issues with my car which was straight false. Only concern I brought up after making the original appointment for the recall was that the check engine light coming on the day after making the original appointment but that was it. It just seemed odd to me and it made me wonder what type of operation was being run there. I wanted to bring this to your attention to hopefully help bring about some change in the customer interaction and service. These scare tactics are not what I expect from a place I trust with servicing my car. I hope there’s better communication with clients moving forward. I appreciated Raul updating me once my car was ready but honestly, with everything that happened prior to that, it made me question ever leaving the car with the dealership in Buena Park again.
