If you’re considering taking a road trip in the western part of the United States, there are many areas to choose from that will appeal to the entire family. They are all memorable in their own way.

Whether you like to go mountain climbing, hiking, biking or just enjoy an amazing view, this trip has it all.

3.) American Southwest in Arizona

If you are considering an adventure through the Southwest, you won’t be disappointed. The spiritual area of Sedona, Arizona, is known for its red rock formations and Native American sites. Throughout your journey through the southwest, there are canyons, ranches, and of course bison. If you happen to stop at a trading post, you’ll find Hopi and Navajo art, rugs, jewelry and pottery. In the northwest part of Washington state, you’ll find a blend of climates and natural wonders. The Olympic National Park and Olympic National Forest sit in the center of Olympic Peninsula. Starting in Seattle, you’ll see snow-topped peaks of the Olympias. Along the way, there are rain forests, logging towns and many parks and natural lakes for fishing. 5.) Rocky Mountains

During a road trip through the Rocky Mountains, you’ll witness scenic lakes, horseback riders, and snowcapped mountains.
