It’s pricy and lack of transparency
I’m not satisfied with the service because i wasn’t offered any actual solution to the issue i was experiencing.
I brought in the car because the integrated microphone is defective from the factory, people report they can’t hear me well when i am on a call on my car, the sounds is muddled is im not yelling straight towards the mic. There is has been consistent for a year since the car was new.
I told the person that received my car that the issue happens when I use the apple car play which is the only way to use the full functionality of the system when you have an iPhone and that implies I’m using the cable all the time, I insisted on that detail.
Later they call and tell me I need to re pair my phone to the car Bluetooth, I told them that I specifically said that I don’t use the Bluetooth at all because I have an iPhone so this is not a solution at all. Then they tell me i need to make sure the volume is all the way up, which doesn’t make sense because first of all the issue is the microphone and not the speaker, again the solution makes no sense but seems to come from a predetermined script that does not apply my case, and also the volume controls are fully disabled on the phone when you plug it to the apple car play, then they tell me i need to get a new cable, i use a brand new Apple Original cable so i don’t see how that can be improved either, again a useless solutions.
In the end they didn’t do anything to the car so i don’t expect any changes not the issue to be resolved. I’d appreciate your help following up on this matter since this has become Safety concern and should not happen in as brand new car, the person that received my car also gatos this is a common issue in this car so how come there isn’t asolution for it?
