The advisor had no idea about my appointment and that I had specifically outlined several issues that needed to be addressed that appear in at least two emails I received from your service department. If I had the details on my phone, why couldn’t he just pull them up. When I came to pick up my vehicle at least two items had not been addressed. Namely the rattle I reported in my sunroof and the grease on my rims that persisted from the time I got delivery of my SQ5. The adviser seemed more focused on the loaner vehicle and scratches on it that he said the dealership was aware of and happened when snow was brushed off this winter. The 10,000 mile service got done at 7,500 miles (which I find confusing as it seems to simply push things back instead of forward) and there was some sort of recall that had apparently caused a failure that the car was giving me regarding the driver back-up tail light. The adviser made some sort of reference initially to the failure of bulbs not being covered more than one year from delivery. Of course this was not the case for my vehicle as delivery was near the end of last May! I’m glad you are inquiring. I had been a customer of The Exchange in Higland Park (but Chris McGrath helped me with my A7 trade last year) and they really have it together on the customer service side. I don’t want to get the adviser in hot water but frankly it just wasn’t what I’d have come to expect. I’ve driven BMW, Mercedes and Audi and all the service has been world class. Your dealership seems to be lacking. There are gaps. Communication when I scheduled was great but horrible upon execution. More training needed. Can I offer my services as a retired relationship management professional?

Wheels were filthy Not up to your usual standards Service rep not knowledgeable and her follow up was non existent Other than letting me know how much tire storage would cost me in advance she wasn’t very well informed Steering wheel was damaged at last visit and she didn’t seem too interested in getting that resolved Overall poor customer service than what I’m used to at your dealership
