I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at Goudy Honda and will ensure that neither I nor my family and friends return. Upon arrival, Ivan was curt and unhelpful, rushing me to authorize a $210 diagnostic fee for my 2024 HR-V (under 9K miles), which is still under warranty. Despite explaining the ongoing sensor issues and my car failing to start, I was given only a brief window to decide and was told I couldn’t add the diagnostic after the appointment. Additionally, I was not informed in advance that my recall service would take five to six hours, despite scheduling the appointment over a month ago.
When I checked on my car at 2 PM, Ivan said it would be ready by 4:30, but by 3:30, I was told it was “ready early.” However, when I went to retrieve it, all the windows were rolled down, no protective film was applied to any contact areas, and there was no one available to hand me my car keys, forcing me to find them myself. Meanwhile, other customers received keys promptly in hand and had protective film on their vehicles. This raises concerns about possible discrimination.
Therefore, I asked to be directed to Service Supervisor John Wilson. When I spoke with John to express my concerns, he misconstrued my complaint as a request for free service, rather than acknowledging my dissatisfaction with the lack of respect and professionalism. John did not provide any actionable steps, take any accountability or provide any reassurance. As a loyal Honda customer and owner of multiple vehicles from the brand, this experience was unacceptable and has left me with a lasting negative impression of Goudy Honda.
