My service rep was friendly. They needed to have my van for a day or two and when they went to give me a car they had none so had to transport me to enterprise which was fine. Came back 2 days later and they fixed the problem but didn’t reset any lights and my tire pressure was off when I brought it in so when I asked my rep why the air pressure wasn’t check let alone fixed he informed me that I had to request for that in order for them to fix it. So it took another 15 minutes and when I got it the second time I still had a reminder light on that they didn’t reset and so the tech came and couldn’t figure it out. I tried and realized the oil change reminder was set for 1000 miles so I reset it and problem fixed. Just sad that when I brought my car in with a check engine light on, by the way a 2018 nv3500 with only 1900 miles, I have to ask them to check everything instead of them doing it for me.

I was told that the service was going to take up to 1 hour to check the tires pressure and to install the motor cover that is ordered over 3 weeks ago. First, it took more than 2 hours to say that the pressure was adjusted and the part couldn’t be installed because it was damaged. Brandon said they were going to order it again and was supposed to arrive today. He also said he was going to call me today and that never happened. Moreover, when I finally got my car back, it was as dirty as it was when I took it to the dealership and the invoice listed that it had been washed. This is not the first time I have a bad experience in the last 2 months. It is unfortunate that the quality of the service is not the same anymore.

I say exceptional because I took my car in for a simple recall service, my appointment was kept, the work was done within the estimated time, no new problems seem to have been created, and no one tried to upsell me on anything—truly this is the exception, as I have never had a service appointment at a car dealership go so well. This was my first visit to Avondale Nissan; I will keep you in mind for future service needs & hope you can do as well again with something more complex.
