Longo Toyota Auto Repair Service of Prosper

I am on my fifth Toyota and rarely do I need to visit the dealership! Now that Longo is open in Prosoer And meeting Chris Kite I know I’m in good hands! Chris went above and beyond for me over the holidays! Thank you Longo and Chris for reafirmimg why I drive Toyota’s!

Appt was at 1. Got there early before 1 and left after 3. 2.5 hrs with appt?

David the service adviser was great, entire experience was great except for the free car wash provided. While I appreciate the complementary wash after service, I will have to decline it in the future. The water spots left on the windows, outside mirrors and whole truck in general required me to re wash and dry. Not sure if it’s a hard water issue. At a minimum a quick wiping of the windows and mirrors would be appreciative. And again this does not reflect my experience as a whole, everything was great, just bringing up this issue with the wash.

I stopped in Longo the week prior to my appointment to explain that I needed an oil change and in addition I needed a couple of parts and I wanted them installed at the same time I received the oil change. When I arrived, I was told he wasn’t sure u had the parts. After waiting an hour, my truck was still not in the shop, so I asked about it and I was told it would be finished by noon but he was still waiting to hear on the parts. About noon, I was told my oil change was finished but I did not have the parts to repair my window or the battery hold down and I was also told I needed the same part for the passenger side window, which it did. He said they could send a driver to pick them up locally but that could take 2 or three more hours. I informed Chris, I would like him to order the parts, and when they came in I would pick them up and install them myself. He said great, just give me a few minutes to finish up the paperwork. When he came to get me, good news, you had the parts but could not install them right away. So I took them home and within 30 minutes installed all three new parts when. I was told it would take your service dept 2.5 hours. What a crock, I was lied to several times. The good news is that I now know your deLership can’t be trusted and I will go back to my old dealership for future repairs and to buy my new Tundra. I will also make sure my friends and family know your dealership is not to be trusted. You have such great products, unfortunately, you have fallen far short of that on the service side.

Although car was supposed to be ready by about 3pm, We were not notified that our car was not ready for pick up - when we arrived near closing time. The car was still being worked on and was not ready until about 630ish.

The sales rep who helped me, Edwin, was fantastic. I’m not from the area but I’d be glad to drive back just to get a car from him. He was very honest and did not try to charge me more than necessary and I appreciate that. He is amazing!!
