I took my 2011 Cruze LTZ in at 7 am on May 16 for new struts, shocks and a brake fluid exchange. Service adviser Jay said it would be ready at the end of the day. Jay called me at the end of the day to inform me that the wrong struts were delivered and they had to order again. When the next set of struts came in on May 17, Jay called me at the end of the day to say the struts that were delivered were still not correct. On May 18, the struts that came in were correct, but at the end of the day I got a call from Jay saying that when he test drove the car, there was a rattle from the passenger rear that he attributed to the shock assembly not being torqued correctly. The tech had left for the day, so had to wait until the following day, May 19. So, a one day job turned into 4 days.
I would ask that you look into the parts mess, whether it was on Chevrolet's end or the suppliers end. I also request that the technician pay more attention to detail. They have torque gauges, so pay attention. Also, after every service I have to let air out of my tires to bring them back to the correct pressure. Supposed to be 30 psi for my car and tires. They were inflated to 40 psi.
