I brought my car in at 7:00 am for an alignment and service and didn’t get till 2:00 pm. They called me and told me the serpentine belt tensioner was leaking and they could only fix it with their kit that included a new water pump for $1650.00. I asked my service writer if they could do the tensioner and belt only and he told me no, that I needed the whole kit. I know you can get the tensioner and belt separately. I would have done that.
