The vehicle was dropped off at 9:30am for just brake service. It wasn’t finished until 4:30 pm. No reasonable explanation was given for it taking that long. This is the last that Kia will see me for service. Very very poor service.

Would be a good idea to include a complimentary vacuum of the interior of the car.everything is so expensive these days. Beyond what one can truly afford.would be nice to be afforded a little extra in the name of common decency rather than just making a buck thank you.

I’ve been having vehicles serviced at Ron Bouchard for as long as I can remember. A civic from 2007-2015, then I bought a new Kia there in 2015 and have had it serviced there since. I didn’t have a good experience… I actually drove back there 3 hours after picking up my car with my 9 mo old baby, to get some kind of answers to try to feel better or understand what happened. I felt like I got the run around and ripped off.. they said they were rotating the tires, it got brought up 3 separate times. They didn’t get rotated. I don’t know if I payed for it or not. They were going to do the recall. After I got home I didn’t see it on the work slip, I called and they didn’t do that either, no one mentioned it. I had assumed it was done, if I didn’t call I wouldn’t have known. Now I have to find more time for another appointment and drive back there and have it done. They told me the part was on back order and it would be there Monday. I had called a month prior to setting up my appointment to see if they had the replacement part for it in stock and they said they have plenty. While I was there the second time I stopped in parts and asked them if they had it in stock and they said they had several. The way they set up the service was “A la carte” instead of a 90k maintenance package (I’m at 97k), which seemed at least $100-200 more for less services. Because I was told they did the 90k maintenance last time instead of the 60 so they didn’t have to do the 90, but I should still have something form the 60 done the next one at 120. I’m still trying to figure it out. I also get a service coupon mailed to me, this one was basically 10% off from a $500-1000 service, you save $50-100. My service was close to $1000 and they took off $50. I could go on. Because there’s even more that I’m leaving out. I looked up the nearest dealership because I don’t feel like going back. Right now I literally would drive 45m out of my way because of how dissatisfied I am. If there was someone that cared I’d tell them to come up with a new thing for auto service called video verification, where you can watch a video of the services performed on your vehicle, so you never have to feel like you paid for services that weren’t performed. And then it’s your word against theirs and no one handles that well. It would become the service industry standard, no one that cared about money would want to have their vehicle serviced at a place that didn’t offer it. And some guy like me that just had a baby and money is tight can feel like they can verify where the $1000 went and without a doubt they did what they said and what you paid for. I’ve had my doubts about some prior services at Kia as well. I didn’t even know this satisfaction comment was a thing until right now. I wanted to talk with someone, but who would REALLY care and not just tell me what I want to hear then forget about it. Well I guess we’ll find out…
