After purchasing 3 cars from Acura and now considering buying a 2022 MDX, service appears slipping it seems.
-with every scheduled service, rep appears to discourage offering a loaner. For me it’s important because of my business schedule.
-with this latest tailgate issue, I was one of the first in line for service. That notwithstanding, after 2.5hours in the waiting area, I inquired about the status of the car. The immediate response came back stating it was the “shock” and they will need to order the replacement part for a 2 month delivery. I would have been pleased if they told me that earlier than the 2.5 hour wait.
Service is important to us and we make major purchases with that in mind. With our upcoming purchase of a new vehicle, we are considering the Cadillac XTR 6 to include there commitment on service.

Confusion re a loaner car when I got there. Thankfully they borrowed one from Honda. Employees used it for food pick up smelled of it. Then trash was stashed between the console and the passenger seat including food wrappers and mask years past I would bring my car for service and they would wash it. Lexus does that for me now. But no and they knew I was coming back for my car. It should have been right up front. But no he had to walk way to the back to bring it over. The. I get in my car and 105.9 rap station was on. Not programmed in my car. Since they had to drive it for a while. I know these are odd times. But not what I was use to years past. Guys were very nice for sure. Strange thing is they were not really busy.
