This has been by far, an excellent experience with Team Chevrolet. I came in for an oil change, an alignment check and to see if they could put my front passenger fog light in. It had popped out of "socket" after I hit a raccoon on Tuesday night. After an hour and 45 minutes, my car was ready. I got into my car with my 6 year old son, and smelled gas. The smell was so strong but I thought it may be a truck that beside me in the parking lot, giving off the fumes. I drove away. I noticed my driver door had black grease near the arm rest and handle. I noticed grease marks along my headliner, the top, near the driver window. I noticed grease also, on my sun visor and near the button you press to turn on the interior lights. I thought I would simply clean it off myself, and drove away. I continued to smell this very strong odor of gas. I knew that I had been smelling exhaust fumes for some time now, but nothing like this. I figured it was time to get the exhaust leak fixed. I went to Johnnys Muffler on S. Main St in Salisbury. He asked me if I had a loud noise. I told him no. The exhaust sounded quite normal. He said that if I had an exhaust leak, it would be making a louder sound that would be recognizable. He asked me to pop my hood and he would check to see what's going on anyway. He immediately noticed, my oil cap off, oil everywhere in the engine bay and on the dip stick. He immediately said, "that's your problem right there". I looked around for the missing oil cap and finally found it near the hood latch, stuck down inside pretty good. I was able to get it out and put it back on. I checked the oil on the dip stick, and it measured, so I called Team Chevrolet back and spoke with Chris. He asked me if I could get it back up there to him. I told him I could. My son and I venture back up to Team Chevrolet. I pull back into the service lane and tell Chris about the oil in the engine bay, the grease on the arm rest of the driver door, the headliner and the sun visor. He said he would get it taken care of. My ex wife came to pick up my son to get him away from all this running around, and I waited for my car to be cleaned up and oil put back in it. Chris came to me and said my car was ready. I went out, popped the hood and noticed the engine bay still the same as it was. Oil caked and laying down inside the engine bay, and along numerous parts. I checked the oil on the dip stick and it seemed to have oil in it. I asked Chris if they put oil back in it, just prior to me leaving, and he said that he was sure they did. I got back into my car and noticed the grease still everywhere, except the door, and the driver seat. I was so stressed and frustrated, I just left again. It began to rain later on in the evening, so I turned my windshield wipers on, along with my headlights and fog lights. I got behind a truck and noticed in the reflection, my front passenger fog light was not on. It was back in the socket and tight, but now it's not on at all. It WAS on, just popped out of socket. Now it doesn't work at all. So needless to say, this experiment has been anything but great. I am supposed to go back tomorrow for a $140 front brake pad job, and I guess I'm going to have to mention the fog light again. It's just very frustrating to have to keep going back. Why can't the work be done right THE FIRST TIME? Chris has always been very helpful to me. He's always been very nice and has went so far out of his way for me, and I will always be appreciative of him. I just want my oil to be right, I want my engine bay cleaned as Chris requested. I want my fog light WORKING, not just put back in the socket, and I do NOT want to have to come back for ANYTHING.

Your initial estimate had extra, incorrect charges for over $500. I was told your estimate software does not calculate correctly. Why doesn't it estimate correctly? A mistake of over $500 on an $1100 estimate is not acceptable. I received the vehicle, it was not washed or vacuumed. I spent over $500 on service, shouldn't I get a car wash? I know I have a dark vehicle and I was told last time that it is hand washed. Was there not enough time to wash it, I had the vehicle there all day? Tabbatha did a good job with helping me today, as she always does.

I did not get called when my parts arrived. I did not get a receipt for work performed. I got a text 3 days after I got my car back that it was ready. My car was supposed to be picked up at 830 it was closer to 1030. My car was promised to be detailed but it wasn’t. All around every service visit is disappointment after disappointment. I’m not even sure all my work was performed.

I took my brother’s car in for a recall repair that I was told would take two hours to fix which ended up taking over a day and a half. On the second day of this “two hour” repair when I inquired about a loaner car after not hearing any updates all morning on when the car would be done I was simply told that all of them were being used but while picking up my car up I stood and watched another customer going through the process of getting a loaner car and having the key handed to them immediately. The entire experience was frustrating and inconvenient.

Tabbatha Greer was very polite, very friendly. I have no complaints with her. My problem is that my initial service contact took place on June 2nd. I was call a few weeks later and told the parts for my warranty repair were in. I made an appointment and brought my truck in. 2 hours later I was told not all the parts had arrived. I picked the truck up and waited until August 5th at which time I still had not heard anything from Team. When I went to the service desk I was told the parts had arrived but no one contacted me. You’ve to work on closing the feedback loop. I understand the initial service adviser had left Team or was terminated. It should not be up to the customer to continually follow up regarding warranty work. Other than that, the repair seems to have been affective.
