I came in for a basic oil change service and had a squeaky noise while AC is on. I’ve talked about this problem a 2x when I’ve been in for service and it’s still happening. I’ve been told by an outside technician that’s it’s the tensioner associated with the drive belt making the noise. I’ve had the drive belt replaced a year ago, but they never did the tensioner with it. This last service I had this past week they told me it was the axel boot leaking and spraying grease up onto the belts making them squeak. They said I could hear it squeak with the AC on because the car is working harder. So, instead of the tensioner, they replaced my axel boots for $690 dollars. Definitely wrong diagnosis because my car is still squeaking with the AC on since my service. That was an expensive fix for a wrong diagnosis. Lately I have not been happy with the service. I have brought my car into Roseville Toyota since it was new and used to be very pleased. Lately though the service has been not so good. They break my lug nut caps of my wheels and don’t replace them. They left my engine cover off my car and I found out myself a month and a half later when I opened the hood to replace a headlight bulb. The service department still had it, so I had to drive there and get it put back on. I had an alignment done and my car was driving to the right, so I had to come back in so they could correct the alinement. Now, this expensive wrong diagnosis and I still have the squeaking noise. All I needed was a tensioner.

For people like me who ONLY come to your dealership for work on our cars, you should be giving us some good concessions. Your price was steep. If I had time, I would have gone somewhere else because they were at least $40-50 cheaper. If you send us coupons they should be usable for 3-4 months not a few weeks.

Cory Is the best Service Advisor i’ve ever had since day one.

Everything was handled professionally, but I do check over the work Done and. On a few occasions if found the nut that the bottom of the oil pan was loose. That was the only thing I found wrong. Overall the upkeep of my vehicle has been excellent. Thank you.
