I just spent $250 to replace a gas cap. I asked if they could look at gas cap first. I was told it could be done. Instead you ran a $200 diagnostic to determine it was in fact the gas cap. Of course since it was a gas cap ($40 part) it was not covered by the extended warranty I paid $4,000 for. So not satisfied at all.

Asking $1450 for a normal scheduled 30K service for a sub-compact Honda Fit. More than twice the amount quoted by another dealer. I understand price varies between dealers and everyone needs to make money. But it is extremely dishonest practice when the cost difference is more than 100%.
