Initially I paid Hampton $159 to tell me that I had alignment issues with my doors and I had to go to a collision center because Hampton does not repair vehicles in accidents. Wow! Why didn’t Leslie tell me this before accepting my credit card payment? There is banging and thud like noise from the drivers wheel well when driving over potholes and I was concerned there might be a safety issue. I asked if a tech could ride with me so I could point out the noise and Leslie told me no. I also asked her if I could do a quick vehicle inspection while it was on a lift and she told me no again. When asked why, Leslie repeated her statement that Hampton does not repair damaged vehicles. Why didn’t she tell me this before she collected my payment. Yes, the charge was reversed, but only after a very contentious conference call with Superior Toyota. I purchased my SUV from Hampton and was basically treated like ****. Leslie was repeatedly abrupt with me and did not want to listen to the predicament I was in and safety was my primary concern.
I served in the Army for 30 years and I understand the importance of inspecting vehicles if there are safety concerns.
But instead of helping me, Leslie repeated the fact that Hampton could not do anything for me, yet there is a 2-3 month delay with collision centers.
I specifically told Leslie before I gave her my key that my vehicle was in an auto accident, so why didn’t she immediately tell me that Hampton could not help me? Why did Leslie charge $159 just to tell me that I had door alignment issues and the fact that their mechanic is not qualified to inspect my damaged vehicle?
Hampton has proven they do not deserve my business.
Absolutely pathetic. And I can guarantee that Hampton will not contact me to discuss this issue.
