I found that being in the waiting area was chaotic. Noisy busy…. I did appreciate the popcorn, cookies, bottled water. I would have appreciated more updates on the progress or lack of progress on my car. After waiting nearly 3 hours I was told it would take another 3-4 hours ( which would bring it to closing time). I was offered a shuttle ride home. ( which I accepted). I received no call, so around 4:40 I called. I was told that my car would stay overnight. I was told that it could be ready about 8:30 the next morning. I canceled my 9:00 appointment. I heard nothing the next morning. So, I called about mid-morning. Was told the total cost and that it would be ready about noon. No update. No call. I called. Left a message. At that same time, I got a text saying it was ready. I called back. Was told a shuttle would come for me. Estimate time was 30 minutes. Shuttle arrived an hour later. The shuttle drivers was very kind and compassionate. A blessing. My car seems to drive more smoothly. I’m grateful the problem was solved even though I’m out of pocket for $1400! Yikes! This is my first dealing with your dealership. I lived near Opelousas at the time of purchase so I bought my car there. In my 2 years of complimentary service, I never felt that office to be crazy and chaotic. Just a more pleasant vibe. But, you are 5 minutes from my home so I guess I’m stuck with you. What I would like to see is more interaction and information given ( even once an hour). And if it will take longer than an hour to repair, ( and in my case 24 hours!!!) I would like to be informed sooner. No information I was given in a timely manner. I do not have good feelings about my experience there. I don’t know if I will ever buy another Toyota.

The problem with my brakes should have been caught and addressed much sooner. I brought my vehicle in to Hampton for a check-up in March and the boost pump symptom was happening at the time. However, I was told my brakes were fine and the pads had a few more months. The boost pump symptom grew worse over time. I took a trip all the way up to NW Arkansas week before last. Mountainous terrain. I brought it into a dealership up there (Landers NWA) and STILL I'm told the brakes are fine for a few months. Then after I come back, thankfully when I'm parked, the brakes finally fail. And I'm told this was covered by an extended warranty which means Toyota knows this is a potential problem. Why were my concerns dismissed on my first visit? Why was this symptom missed time and time again? Why does a frequent boost pump cycle not cause a check engine code? And then when I voiced my frustration over this situation with Service Advisor Carice, the response is simply "I totally agree with you Mr. William but I wouldn't know" and I'm sent on my way. No promise of follow up, nothing, just 'well we fixed it, warranty covered it, thank you goodbye'. I'm furious in this apparent lapse of care. There can be several reasonable explanations and excuses for what's happened with my car, but the possibilty of the dire situation my wife and I could have found ourselves in makes this impossible to remain silent over. If there's a warranty situation on certain vehicles BRAKE SYSTEM, you have your people LISTEN and PAY ATTENTION to vehicles they're servicing and if anyone makes any remarks about noises or strange braking action you FOLLOW UP on it.

On arrival I notified my service advisor Leslie Whittaker that my maintenance light was on and there was no windshield wiper fluid. My mileage was at 41,273 on paperwork it shows 41,323. The inspection mark to fill the windshield wiper fluid was marked off green like it was filled. It wasn’t. I called and was told I would receive a call back, because I could not turn around as I would be late picking up my daughter. I was not pleased with the service from the beginning. The day after I purchased the car the battery died and had to be replaced. Y’all should not let customers purchase a car without servicing used or new. I chose Hampton because that’s where I purchased my first Camry years ago. I never received bad service. I pray you all give better service in the future.
